6 new types of drugs appear causing acute poisoning in many people
Paradise leaves, "milk tea", happy water, lazy cake... are new generation drugs stronger than heroin, causing acute poisoning in many people.
According to doctors at Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi), the hospital's Poison Control Center used to receive patients with heroin poisoning. For about 10 years now, patients have mainly been poisoned by new drugs, synthetic drugs.
Patients were admitted to the hospital in a very serious condition, comatose, convulsed, with arrhythmia, high blood pressure, and life-threatening. There were cases of death due to acute crystal meth poisoning. Most patients with new-generation drug poisoning showed signs of excitement, drowsiness, confusion, paranoia, hallucinations, and dangerous behaviors and ideas for themselves and those around them.
Doctors have compiled a list of 6 new drugs that have caused many people to be hospitalized due to poisoning:
Leaves of paradise or "thirsty" leaves
This is a type of shredded leaf that is often packaged, with the packaging labeled K2/spice, and the English words meaning "not for human consumption". This is a hallucinogenic drug that is many times stronger than marijuana.
"Milk tea", happy drink
“Milk tea” is a powder that smells like tea. Happy water is usually contained in a very beautiful bottle. The main ingredients in these two synthetic drugs are amphetamine and methamphetamine. Each bottle of Happy water costs about 1.2-1.5 million VND.

Paper stamp or tongue charm
A paper stamp is a 1.5x1.5cm piece of paper stuck on a piece of cardboard. A piece of cardboard has 25 paper stamps stuck on it. This type is soaked in LSD, the most powerful hallucinogen known to man. Just a few dozen micrograms can cause hallucinations. LSD disappeared from the illegal trade for about 50 years, and has reappeared in the past few years in another form, a paper stamp.
This is a dangerous drug, the most powerful hallucinogen and stimulant, very strong stimulation. The way to use is very simple, lick it like a piece of paper or hold it on the tongue. LSD has a very fast effect, after only 5 minutes of licking and holding it, you will feel it. The half-life is 5 hours but the effect is up to 12 hours. Using a high dose of about 1mcg/kg can cause hallucinations that last for several days.
