"Vietnam Rising" Milk Fund comes to poor children in Vinh Phuc

Vinh Phuc is a province in the Northern key economic region, the gateway to the capital, the bridge between the Northwestern provinces with Hanoi and the Red River Delta, so the province plays a very important role in the regional and national economic development strategy. Vinh Phuc is proud to be a province with a long tradition of patriotism and revolution, that tradition is highly promoted in production and combat.

Vinh Phuc province is also known for its typical victories such as Khoan Bo, Xuan Trach, and Nui Dinh, and the heroic martyr Nguyen Viet Xuan with his immortal command "Aim straight at the enemy and shoot".

Besides the advantages of location characteristics and historical and cultural foundation, the economic development of Vinh Phuc also faces many difficulties, which also causes many limitations in nutritional care for children.

With the desire to contribute to improving the nutritional status of children in Vinh Phuc province, and at the same time giving the children here a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival, the Vietnam Grow Up Milk Fund and Vinamilk have decided to choose Vinh Phuc as the next destination in their 2018 milk giving journey.

The program has given away 66,000 glasses of milk.equivalent430 million VNDfor 700 studentsHere with the hope that the children will have the opportunity to develop better both physically and mentally, and will become useful citizens to society.

Mr. Do Thanh Tuan - Director of Foreign Affairs of Vinamilk presented a symbolic plaque of 66,000 glasses of milk to the representative of Vinh Phuc province.

In addition to the delicious glasses of milk delivered to their hands, the children also received free health check-ups and nutrition consultations from doctors at the Vinamilk Nutrition Consulting Center. The excitement and radiance of the children when carrying lanterns and drinking milk with their friends and teachers is the motivation for Vinamilk and the Vietnam Grow Up Milk Fund to continue bringing pure glasses of milk, a rich source of nutrition, to children across the country.

The Vietnam Grow Tall Milk Fund was established in 2008 under the leadership of the Vietnam Children's Fund, under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, with the continuous support of Vinamilk company with a very noble mission, which is to ensure the right to drink milk every day of Vietnamese children, so that they have the conditions to develop comprehensively in both physical and intellectual aspects.

With 1,540,80010 cups of milkbillion VND of the Vietnam Grow Tall Milk Fund for more than 17,000 children in 23 provinces and cities across the country in 2018. The total number of glasses of milk that the program has given out over the past 10 years is more than 33 million glasses.with a total value equivalent to nearly 140billion dongreach nearly 420 thousand childrendifficulties in Vietnam

Students were excited to play fun games, carry mid-autumn lanterns and drink milk with friends.

The program has brought millions of cups of warm milk with love to all provinces and cities across the country, from Ha Giang - the northernmost point of the country to the southernmost point of Ca Mau. In recent years, Vinamilk and the Vietnam Grow Up Milk Fund have also organized milk giving ceremonies for poor children in Quang Nam, Ninh Binh, Lam Dong, Ben Tre, Nghe An, An Giang, etc.

In addition to the Vietnam Growing Up Milk Fund program with many profound humanitarian meanings, Vinamilk is currently also the unit implementing the 1 Million Trees for Vietnam Fund and the national school milk program nationwide. 2018 is the 6th year in the journey of bringing green across the length of the country, Vinamilk and the "1 Million Trees for Vietnam Fund" have brought the total number of trees planted in nearly 20 provinces and cities in Vietnam to 680 thousand trees.of all kinds with a value of nearly 9 billion VND and is gradually getting closer to the goal of 1 million trees for Vietnam.

Vinamilk is also the pioneer in implementing the 'School Milk' program from the 2007 school year until now, aiming to bring international quality nutritional milk products to students across the country, helping them develop comprehensively both physically and mentally, for a Vietnam Rising Up.

After 11 years, Vinamilk has supported more than 140 billion VND for the school milk program, equivalent to nearly 60 million milk boxes for 700,000 preschool and primary school students in provinces and cities such as: Bac Ninh, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ben Tre, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, Ha Nam, Bac Ninh... This is also the premise for provincial leaders to consider building and implementing the provincial School Milk project that many provinces/cities are implementing.
