Thousands of early Mid-Autumn gifts come to children in the highlands

On the afternoon of September 20, a volunteer group from Vinh City organized an early Mid-Autumn Festival for Dan Lai students in Khe Bu village, Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong. The volunteer group consists of young people who work in business, own clothing shops and businesses in Vinh City.

Ms. Phan Hoa Ngan, the volunteer group leader, shared: Every year, her volunteer group often organizes trips to the forest to bring Mid-Autumn Festival to children in the highlands. In this activity, Ms. Ngan's group gave 15 bicycles to disadvantaged students and 250 gifts including notebooks, pens, and paper.

On this occasion, the commune government and Chau Khe Commune Border Guard Station also sent gifts to students in the area.
Meanwhile, in Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong district, the Mid-Autumn Festival was organized by the local government in coordination with Nhan Dan Newspaper, VNA, and Ban Ve Hydropower Plant for students from kindergarten to secondary school in the area. The organizers also presented more than 1,500 gifts to students in Xa Luong and Yen Tinh communes, which suffered historic floods in late August and early September.

Also on the night of September 20, Thai and Khmu children in Tung Hoc and Xan villages, Huu Khuong commune, were also celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival. The "early" Mid-Autumn Festival was reserved by the local government for the most remote villages in Huu Khuong.
