(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, many strangers have appeared at Bac Vinh Bus Station demanding protection for passenger buses, causing disorder and disorder here. The climax of the incident was a fight and conflict between dozens of protection subjects and the bus owners of the Bus Station on the evening of September 19.

Strangers gathered in front of Bac Vinh Bus Station demanding protection for passenger buses.

According to the report of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Deputy Head of Vinh City's Northern Bus Station, at 10:45 p.m. on September 19, nearly 20 strangers appeared at Vinh's Northern Bus Station and demanded protection for the inter-provincial and intra-provincial passenger buses parked at the station.

When some bus owners protested, the group of strangers chased the driver away, did not allow the bus company to pick up passengers, and threatened and intimidated the bus conductor. In that situation, the bus conductor called for more people to come to the rescue, so the group of strangers temporarily dispersed.

The conflict had calmed down for a few minutes when a group of young men (suspected to be residing in Nghi Kim Commune, Vinh City) drove to Bac Vinh Bus Station and demanded to beat the bus driver and the assistant, causing chaos at the station. Only when the station's security force and the police arrived to handle the situation did the crowd disperse.

After a conflict and scuffle between the security guards and the car owners caused disorder in the station's security, the station's management board immediately reported the incident to Nghi Kim commune police and Vinh city police.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.

Referring to the above issue, Mr. Vu Hoang Huynh - Head of Bac Vinh Bus Station said: "The situation of protecting passenger bus routes has been happening for a long time, affecting the interests of legally operating passenger transport businesses. Because vehicles registered for routes must pay 10% value added tax/ticket, along with that must fully comply with liability insurance for passengers, while vehicles even when protected do not comply with these regulations.

Along with that, the situation of arguing and conflicting between the protection subjects and the vehicle owners has caused confusion and panic for many passengers at the station. In particular, this situation has a significant impact on traffic participants when at the protection checkpoints, disputes and congestion often occur.
