Chau Tien commune has 510 hectares of rice. The average yield is 55 quintals/ha. However, the 2018 crop is estimated to be only about 40 quintals/ha. The cause is believed to be the impact of floods in late August and early September.
It is expected that by the end of 2018, Chau Tien will become the first commune in Quy Chau district to reach the new rural finish line. In addition to investing in completing the criteria, the local government also encourages people to invest in mechanization in agricultural production.
