Talking to PV, aMr. Van said his health has improved but his mentality is still unstable because he has just experienced a great shock. "My biggest wish right now is to return home soon to see my daughter and burn incense for my wife and son. I also hope that the authorities will soon investigate and clarify the case because this is a great loss for my family," he shared.

Mr. Van said that on September 14, his group departed from Vinh City to Da Nang City for tourism. On the way, they stopped at a grocery store in Vinh City to buy drinks. At about 5:30 a.m. on September 15, the group arrived in Da Nang, then went straight to Linh Ung Pagoda for sightseeing. At about 8 a.m., the group returned to the hotel in Son Tra District and had breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

After that, everyone went swimming until 11:00, then went to eat and returned to the hotel to rest. At about 15:40, Van's family separated from the group to visit a relative's house in Da Nang. There, they were invited to stay for dinner but declined.

At around 5pm, he returned to the hotel and went sightseeing with everyone in Hoi An City. At around 10pm, Van's family returned to the hotel before going to eat Quang noodles in Da Nang.

“Only my husband and I ate Quang noodles, but my son did not. After returning to the hotel, around 3am, he started vomiting and had diarrhea. At around 7am, I saw my son asking for a lot of water and his face was purple, so I rushed him to the emergency room. After that, I was also hospitalized and have been there ever since,” he said.

Regarding the cause of the incident, Mr. Van denied the possibility that his family was harmed by others due to conflicts in business. “My company is a general contractor, colleagues have worked and lived together for many years, without any conflicts. Therefore, it is impossible for one person to harm another,” said Mr. Van.

In another development, Son Tra District Police said they have reported transferring the entire case file to Da Nang City Police for further investigation and handling.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Da Nang City Food Safety Management Board said there is still no basis to conclude anything about the cause of the incident. The incident is still being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
