(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 26, the Association of War Veterans of Hoang Mai town held the inauguration ceremony and handed over gratitude houses to members of the Veterans Association.

Veteran Nguyen Ngoc Lan of the Yen Ninh Block Association, Quynh Di Ward, is a 2/4 class disabled veteran, infected with Agent Orange. Her family has difficult economic circumstances and lives in a dilapidated level 4 house.

The Provincial Veterans Association and Vingroup Corporation - Thien Tam Fund and other departments and organizations helped his family build a house of gratitude. After 3 months of construction, the house was completed with a total cost of 210 million VND. Of which, the Vingroup Charity Fund was 50 million VND, the rest was saved by the family and helped by relatives. The Village Veterans Association contributed labor.

On this occasion, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of the district presented the family of veteran Nguyen Ngoc Lan with 10 million VND, and local organizations also presented his family with many practical gifts./.
