Nghe An won first prize in the 2018 North Central Region Excellent Primary Health Care Competition

On September 28, in Ha Tinh city, the Ministry of Health organized the 2018 North Central Region Excellent Grassroots Health Competition. Participating in the competition were representatives of teams from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue.
The Excellent Primary Health Care Competition is organized at 4 levels: primary, provincial, regional and central. Before the provincial competition, from June 15-30, 2018, the primary level competition took place. This is the first time the Vietnamese health sector has organized this competition.

The contest took place in the context of the entire health sector focusing on grassroots health care with the theme "Improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at grassroots health care", contributing to bringing Resolutions 20 and 21 of the Party Central Committee on the work of protecting, caring for, and improving people's health, and population work in the new situation into life.

In Nghe An, after the grassroots competition, at the provincial competition, the medical team of Quy Chau district won first prize and was sent by the Nghe An Department of Health to compete in the North Central Region's Excellent Grassroots Medical Competition.
At the contest, the medical team of Quy Chau district performed excellently in the greeting, knowledge and talent (propaganda skit) competitions with absolute scores. Thereby winning the overall first prize. In addition, nurse Pham Thi Ngoc (Chau Thuan Commune Medical Station) won the supporting prize for Best Actress...

Thus, the Quy Chau district team will continue to represent Nghe An health sector to participate in the National Excellent Primary Health Care Competition which will be held at the end of October 2018 in Hanoi. The Ha Tinh province team (which won second prize in the regional competition) will also participate in the national competition.
At this contest, the Ministry of Health awarded Certificates of Merit to the Department of Health of Nghe An and Ha Tinh and 6 teams for their efforts in organizing and participating in the Excellent Primary Health Care Contest./.
