There needs to be a policy to create jobs for ethnic minorities.
(Baonghean.vn) - That is one of the contents that voters in Mau Duc commune, Con Cuong district proposed to two National Assembly deputies Le Quang Huy - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police on the morning of October 4.
Also attending the meeting with voters were representatives of the following departments: Agriculture and Rural Development; Transport; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; leaders of Con Cuong district and voters of Mau Duc commune.
At the conference, Mr. Le Quang Huy - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment informed voters about the expected content and program of the upcoming 6th session of the 14th National Assembly.

At the meeting, voter Nguyen Thi Chau Loan, Principal of Mau Duc Primary School, reflected on the shortage of teachers, so schools are forced to cut down on the number of classes per week, making the quality of teaching and comprehensive education for students as well as schools that meet national standards not guaranteed. Therefore, voters hope that competent authorities will have solutions to arrange enough teachers according to regulations, to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

Regarding the issue of protection forest management, voter Lo Phi Hung (Chom Muong village) reported that since 2016, the protection forest has cut off forest management and protection for 18 households in the area without notice, causing many difficulties for people without production forests. Voters suggested that the National Assembly should have solutions and directions to help people develop the economy and stabilize their lives.
Reflecting at the conference, voter Lo Van That, Chairman of Mau Duc Commune People's Committee, said that with the regulation of vehicle weight over Thanh Nam suspension bridge being only 10 tons, the circulation of goods, trade and economic development in the area are facing many limitations. Therefore, in order to develop the communes on the left bank of Lam Binh - Don - Mau - Thach River in general and Mau Duc in particular, it is proposed that the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Committee have a project to build Thanh Nam rigid bridge to connect traffic with National Highway 7A.

Voter Quang Thi Xuan (Na Duoi village) expressed concern about the unemployment of 25 ethnic minority children in Mau Duc commune after graduating from universities and colleges. Voters asked the National Assembly to have a separate policy on employment for ethnic minority students.
In addition, voters of Con Cuong district also made recommendations to the National Assembly on a number of issues such as: the need for a mechanism for people with revolutionary contributions, care for victims of Agent Orange, families with preferential policies, and poor households to reduce difficulties for these families...
After listening to voters' recommendations, representatives of relevant departments and branches responded to opinions within their authority.

Receiving the voters' recommendations, on behalf of the provincial National Assembly delegation, delegate Nguyen Huu Cau thanked the voters for their feedback and suggestions to the National Assembly, the Government, the Central Ministries and branches, and local Party committees and authorities at all levels; and promised to fully convey them to competent authorities.
