Nearly 1,800 students of Vinh University of Technical Education enter the new school year
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 9, Vinh University of Technical Education held the opening ceremony of the 2018-2019 school year and awarded university degrees to the school's students.

In the 2018-2019 school year, Vinh University of Technology and Education has nearly 1,800 students enrolled in 4 master's programs, 12 undergraduate programs and 26 college programs. Welcoming the new school year, the school's leaders hope that new students will live with ideals, dreams and ambitions; know how to overcome difficulties and be humble in studying and practicing.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department highly appreciated the efforts of the school in the past school year.

In the 2018-2019 school year, to achieve the set goals, he requested the school to be responsible for innovating and improving the quality of teacher training and development, and training high-quality human resources. To do so, the school needs to continue to effectively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle; advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on training and development of vocational teachers and training high-quality human resources to meet the 4.0 industrial revolution.
In addition, the school needs to continue to innovate, reorganize the apparatus, streamline the payroll and effectively implement solutions to build and develop a team of quality lecturers, leaders and managers; strongly innovate training and fostering activities towards improving quality, technical training with application as the focus for teaching; focus on improving the quality of scientific research, investing in facilities and equipment towards modernization...

On the part of students, students need to thoroughly grasp the sense of discipline, spirit, and learning attitude, seriously determine the right motivation for learning, actively research to improve knowledge and vocational training skills. Promote the role of the school's youth union and student association in educating and training students.
On this occasion, the school also awarded diplomas to more than 1,000 engineers and new graduates who graduated in 2018. Several business organizations also awarded scholarships to students with excellent academic achievements./.
