Vi Giam folk song opens the live show of Nghe An singer Phuong Thao
(Baonghean.vn) - Singer Pham Phuong Thao, a native of Nghe An, held a press conference in Hanoi on October 10 to announce her first live show to celebrate 20 years of singing. She also revealed that this will be the only live show in her artistic career.

She confided that this live show was not for business, not to promote her image any further, but to show gratitude to the audience who truly loved her, who accepted her 20 years ago, helped her flourish in her career, and protected her through the many sufferings and ups and downs of her personal life.
The Dreamy Love music night will have three parts: The first part will depict Pham Phuong Thao's early days in music. Stepping onto the stage will be a simple, rural singer. Part 2 will be songs composed by Pham Phuong Thao herself, and guests will help Phuong Thao perform. Part 3 will be familiar songs that help Pham Phuong Thao get closer to the public such as: Quang Binh, my hometown, Khuc tam tinh cua nguoi Ha Tinh...

At the press conference, Viet Hoan shared that it was the first time he heard and was very impressed with the lyrics and melody of the song "Dream of Destiny" by Pham Phuong Thao.
He affirmed that it was not because Pham Phuong Thao invited him to sing in her live show that he spoke well of the female singer. “Pham Phuong Thao deserves to be recognized for her efforts and dedication to art, she sacrificed for the public and the audience, this is something that not every artist can do.
Pham Phuong Thao is too devoted to her art. I don't condemn or anything, but perhaps I am more realistic than Pham Phuong Thao. I still advise Thao not to do more than she has" - Viet Hoan said.

Talking about the name of the live show, Pham Phuong Thao expressed that the live show was originally called Gai Nghe because it was a song about herself, her first composition.
“But as the show date approached, I felt that Gai Nghe was something private, and I wanted the concert to be for everyone. I named it Mo Duyen after a song I wrote 8 months ago,” she said.
The special thing about Pham Phuong Thao's live show in the capital is that the opening act will be a folk song from Nghe An performed by the Nghe An Folk Heritage UNESCO Club.
Explaining this choice, Pham Phuong Thao expressed: “People first know Phuong Thao for her folk songs from Nghe Tinh. And certainly Phuong Thao was born, grew up and became successful thanks to the folk songs of her homeland. In the music section of the concert, there is a section dedicated to Nghe Tinh folk songs.”

Singer Pham Phuong Thao was born in 1982 in Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. She graduated from the Military College of Culture and Arts in 2002. In 2003, she won 3rd prize in Sao Mai Television Singing Contest and the award for “Most Favorite Singer” voted by the audience.
