Localities give "Love Homes" to poor households

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 12, many localities in Nghe An organized groundbreaking ceremonies and handed over Great Unity houses and "Warm houses of love" to poor households.

* In Quy Hop,The District Women's Union organized the groundbreaking ceremony to build a "Warm House of Love" for Ms. Vo Thi Hong's family in Ang village, Chau Quang commune.

Vo Thi Hong's family is in difficult circumstances. Her husband died early, she is often sick, and she alone raises two children to go to school. The three of them are living in a makeshift, dilapidated house.

In order to share the difficulties and support Ms. Hong's family, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, through the Women's Union of Quy Hop district, supported 50 million VND. With the support of relatives, the new house on an area of ​​60m2, with a total cost of more than 170 million VND, has started construction; expected to be put into use in December 2018.

*Women's Union of Quynh Luu districtorganized the handover ceremony of the "Warm House of Love" to the family of Ms. Ho Thi Duyen in Hamlet 6, Quynh Hau Commune.

Ms. Ho Thi Duyen is a poor women’s association member who is often sick. For many years, her family has lived in an old, dilapidated house.

The Women's Union of Quynh Hau commune mobilized to support her family with 20 million VND, along with help with working days, to build a warm house.

*On the same day, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan districtCoordinated with Nghia Loi commune to organize the groundbreaking ceremony to build a Great Unity house for Mr. Le Vo Dong's family in Lung Binh hamlet, Nghia Loi commune.

Le Vo Dong's family is poor and does not have a permanent house to live in. He and his wife are often sick and their children work far away.

The Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Loi commune has allocated 20 million VND from the commune's "For the Poor" fund to support the family to build a house. The house is expected to have an area of ​​about 40 m2, worth more than 60 million VND, will be completed in November 2018.

*Tan Ky District Labor FederationOrganized the handover of the "Union Shelter" house to teacher Truong Thi Hoa, who is currently working at Ky Tan Commune Kindergarten.

Teacher Truong Thi Hoa's family is in difficult circumstances. Her husband had a serious illness and recently passed away. She alone has to raise and educate two children.

Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation and Tan Ky District Labor Federation have donated 30 million VND from the "Union Shelter" fund, and teachers in the school donated 5 million VND to help her family build a house.

After a period of construction, the house has now been completed and put into use, with an area of ​​nearly 100m2.2; worth 300 million dong.
