Since 2014, Chau Thanh commune has received more than 3.2 billion VND from the State to provide clean water to 425 households in 3 villages: Trung Thanh, Tien Thanh and Co. District areaQuy Hop currently has 7 projects with a total investment of 93 billion VND. These projects have been disbursed for construction worth 50 billion VND but are still unfinished and wasteful..Of these, 3 projects are not effective, including 2 water projects and 1 market project. There are 4 unfinished construction projects, including 1 Chau Tien Commune People's Committee headquarters project and 3 projects under the Emergency Evacuation Project out of flash floods and landslide risk areas in 3 communes of Chau Tien, Lien Hop and Chau Thanh.

Mr. Vi Thanh Tuong - Vice Chairman of Quy Hop District People's Committee said: Regarding the project of emergency evacuation of people from flash floods and landslides in the three communes of Chau Tien, Lien Hop and Chau Thanh, the district is continuing to submit a request for State funding to complete and soon move people to the resettlement area. However, the completion date has not been specifically determined.
