Trump makes extremely hot statement about China
In an interview with CBS, President Donald Trump asserted that China is more dangerous than Russia in the field of “election interference”.

“I think China interfered in the election as well. And China, I think, is […] a bigger problem,” President Trump told CBS when asked whether he believed Russia interfered in the 2016 election.
“Do you really think I would ask the Russians to help me in an election? Leave me alone. They can’t help me. Call the Russians – that’s ridiculous.”
Sharing the same view, Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen said on Wednesday (October 9) that China has launched an unprecedented campaign to manipulate American public opinion. However, according to Mr. Nielsen, Beijing has not yet attacked the US election system.
It is known that last month, in a meeting with the United Nations Security Council, Mr. Trump also accused China of interfering in the 2018 midterm elections by imposing tariffs on goods originating from states supporting the current US President and the Republican Party.
This statement received support from Vice President Mike Pence. Speaking at the Hudson Institute (Washington) on October 4, Mr. Pence accused China of trying to “steer” American public opinion in the 2018 and 2020 presidential elections because “the Trump administration is operating effectively and Beijing wants a different (more moderate – PV) President”.
