(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the national campaign to build irrigation traffic on October 16, many localities in the province organized a launching ceremony to build irrigation traffic and intra-field traffic, preparing for spring crop production.
*Anh Son Districtassigned specific targets to each commune and town to mobilize nearly 40,500 working days; dredging, digging and filling 24,000 m2 of works.3; shoreline repair and maintenance of 11,500m plot3; traffic clearance is 58,500 m2.
In addition, the district also mobilized social resources of machinery and equipment from organizations and individuals in the area; the total estimated cost is more than 7.3 billion VND.
In particular, the district focuses on dredging canals, clearing the internal drainage system to protect agricultural production and drainage ditches in residential areas; repairing bridges, drainage culverts, canals, and pumping stations throughout the district.

*Responding to the campaign to build internal irrigation works, on the morning of October 16,Yen Thanh District Irrigation EnterpriseCoordinated with communes that contracted to use water to dredge and repair 60 main canal systems managed by the unit.
During the recent floods, most of the irrigation canal system in Yen Thanh district was silted up, many key areas were eroded, affecting irrigation for production.

From now until the end of November, the enterprise strives to complete dredging 60 canals managed by the unit, with a total length of nearly 150 km; achieving the target of over 12,000 m3 of excavated soil.
Along with the irrigation campaign, this time, the Enterprise also invested over 1.5 billion VND to concretize 1 km of canal in the irrigation system of Ve Vung Lake to save water and irrigate scientifically, serving production.

*InTan Ky, many people from 5 communes of Nghia Thai, Nghia Phuc, Tien Ky, Tan Xuan and Huong Son actively participated in irrigation traffic construction.On the first day of operation, 2,145 people were mobilized to participate in dredging 520m3; clearing 9.7km of bushes along canals and ditches and building 280m3 of embankments and field banks.

This year, Tan Ky strives to complete the plan to dredge 300,700m of canals, repair and rebuild 4,800m of irrigation canals damaged by landslides during the recent floods; Clear bushes along canals and internal roads with 200,000m2to facilitate production in the 2019 Spring crop and upcoming crops, contributing to success in both productivity and output, ensuring food security in the area and creating commercial products.

*On the afternoon of October 16, more than 500 youth union members from agencies and units located in the areaHung Nguyen districtcollected duckweed to clear the flow to serve production for farmers in 10 communes in the district.

This time, the youth union members participated in dredging the 12/9 Canal with a length of 1,000 m, from Hung Tan Commune to Hung Thong Commune. In the afternoon, the grassroots youth union branches and agencies cleaned the canal bed, creating favorable conditions for water supply and drainage, ensuring service for agricultural production of farmers.
This is a meaningful activity to promote the pioneering and voluntary role of young people, helping farmers effectively carry out agricultural production.
