Appointment of Director of Vinh Medical University Hospital
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 16, Vinh Medical University held a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish Vinh Medical University Hospital and appoint the Hospital Director.

On July 5, 2018, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2808/QD-UBND on the establishment of Vinh Medical University Hospital. According to the decision: The hospital was established on the basis of upgrading the general clinic of Vinh Medical University.
The hospital is a public health service unit with full financial autonomy, affiliated with and managed by Vinh Medical University, and subject to the professional state management of the health sector and relevant agencies according to the provisions of law. When established, the hospital was ranked level III, after operation and development, it will be assessed and ranked according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health.

Vinh Medical University Hospital has the function of serving teaching, learning, and practicing communication skills for lecturers, students, and pupils; serving as a facility for training and scientific research tasks, applying and deploying new medical techniques; and providing medical examination and treatment for the people.

Regarding the hospital's organizational structure when it was first established: The hospital had a hospital management board, a board of directors, 5 functional departments, 15 clinical departments, and 4 paraclinical departments. In 2018, the hospital had 50 beds. In the following years, it will be implemented according to the targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in the annual socio-economic development plan...
At the ceremony, comrade Le Minh Thong presented the Decision to establish Vinh Medical University Hospital to the Board of Directors of Vinh Medical University; presented the Decision to appoint the Hospital Director for a term of 5 years (term 2018-2023) to Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor CKII Cao Truong Sinh - Vice Rector of Vinh Medical University.
The Hospital Director is the Vice Principal of Vinh Medical University, appointed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong stated: The establishment of the hospital is in line with the policies of the Party and the State. Nghe An has one more quality medical examination and treatment facility, contributing to diversifying forms of medical examination and treatment for the people and at the same time contributing to improving the quality of training and scientific research of the school.
