Construction worker slashes carpenter at housewarming party
During the housewarming party of the homeowner, Mr. Truong took a machete and slashed his friend to death on the spot.
At noon on October 10, a family in Phu Loc commune (Can Loc, Ha Tinh) organized a drinking party to invite a group of house builders. After the party, the homeowner went to sleep, but many guests stayed.

Mr. Phan Van Truong (construction worker) and Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai (carpenter) had a conflict that led to an argument. Angry, Mr. Truong went into the kitchen, grabbed a machete and slashed Mr. Tai in the back, causing him to collapse on the spot and require emergency care in critical condition.
After committing the crime, Mr. Truong fled and is currently being sought by Can Loc District Police.

In another development, upon hearing that his father had been slashed, Nguyen Duc Khanh (24 years old, Mr. Tai's son) had just come home from drinking and was so angry that he grabbed a 60cm long sword and walked along Highway 15A, stopping cars to question passersby, looking for the culprit to "avenge himself".
The entire commune police force of 9 people chased Khanh through two fields. That same evening, the young man was subdued and will be prosecuted for disturbing public order and safety according to Decree 167.
