Strengthening the fight against commercial fraud at the end of the year
(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the key tasks to be implemented in the coming time mentioned at the October 2018 Internal Affairs Bloc Meeting held on the morning of October 18.
According to the report presented at the conference, during the month, the sectors in the bloc have well implemented the tasks of the unit, advised on the work of ensuring political security and social order. The armed forces continued to maintain strict combat readiness, and did a good job of repairing border markers and markers on the Vietnam-Laos border that were washed away by floods.

Authorities implemented synchronous measures to help prevent, control and curb the increase of crime and social evils. During the month, 75 cases and 94 drug-related criminals were discovered and arrested, more than 44 grams of heroin, 2.15 kg of crystal meth, 275 grams and 295 synthetic drug pills were seized, 18 grams of marijuana, and 375 grams of opium.

Detected and arrested 192 cases, 210 criminals and violators of economic and environmental laws, seized 20 kg of explosives, 142 kg of firecrackers, 20 m3wood of all kinds, 0.5 tons of animals, 20 tons of minerals and smuggled goods worth nearly 780 million VND. In particular, forces have been focused on inspecting, detecting and strictly handling cases of illegal sand and gravel mining on rivers (59 cases and 63 subjects have been detected and handled).
The two-level prosecution agencies have strengthened coordination in investigating, prosecuting, and trying cases, especially those directed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee.
However, the conference delegates also assessed that there are still some complicated situations related to security and order in the area. On that basis, the conference agreed on a number of key tasks in November 2018 such as inspecting and urging the work of preventing and combating corruption; deploying forces to implement the plan to strengthen patrolling, controlling, ensuring security and order and fighting against crimes at sea by the Provincial Border Guard; preparing to launch a peak period of attacking and suppressing crimes and activities of producing and selling firecrackers during the 2019 Tet holiday, especially focusing on promoting the work of preventing and combating trade fraud, smuggling, counterfeit goods at the time near the end of the year.
