Party and State leaders and National Assembly deputies visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum
On the morning of October 22, Party and State leaders and National Assembly deputies laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum before the opening session of the 6th session of the 14th National Assembly.
At 7:15 a.m. this morning (October 22), a delegation of Party and State leaders and National Assembly deputies departed from the National Assembly Building to visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.

After the funeral, the delegates returned to the National Assembly House to hold a preparatory meeting to prepare for the Opening Ceremony of the 6th Session of the 14th National Assembly at 9:00 a.m. the same day.
According to the program, the 6th Session of the 14th National Assembly will take place from October 22 to November 21, 2018. At this session, in addition to law-making, the National Assembly will also spend a lot of time on supreme supervision, personnel work and deciding on many important socio-economic issues.

This session has a special mission because the National Assembly will elect the President right from the first days of the session. Another important content that the public is closely following is that the National Assembly will conduct a vote of confidence for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly.
The National Assembly also ratified the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). This is an important agreement that has an impact on most political, economic, social and diplomatic areas of the country.
During 24 working days, the National Assembly will spend about 9.5 days discussing, reviewing and approving 9 draft laws; 1 draft Resolution and giving opinions on 6 other draft laws...
