30 billion VND shopping mall caught fire during construction
(Baonghean.vn) - The project of Trade Center, Hotel and Event Organization with a total investment of about 30 billion VND in Quy Hop district (Nghe An) caught fire while under construction.
According to witnesses, the fire broke out at around 2:15 p.m. on October 24. The fire was determined to have originated from a material storage area on the second floor of the building. At the time, there were about 15 workers working inside. At the scene, black smoke billowed, surrounding the two-story building, but no flames were seen.

Immediately after the fire broke out, the police force and military agency of Quy Hop district mobilized 100% of officers and soldiers to coordinate with Fire Prevention and Fighting Police No. 3 to deploy fire fighting plans.
By around 3pm, the fire was basically under control. The cause of the fire and the damage are still unknown.

Nam Dung Trade, Hotel and Event Center is located in the center of Quy Hop town, on an area of 1.5 hectares, started construction in June 2018 with a total estimated investment of 30 billion VND. The Nam Dung Trade, Hotel and Event Center had completed the rough construction and was in the process of finishing when the fire broke out.
