Responding to VietNamNet, director Mai Hong Phong said that the excerpt from the song "Mother's Diary" in episode 19 of the film was sung by actress Phuong Oanh herself at a charity event. "I think Ms. Oanh sang it herself, and it was at a charity event, so it's okay to take a short excerpt. Copyright has long been taken care of by VFC's media," director Mai Hong Phong said.
