Many gifts to support students and the poor in Tan Ky and Ky Son
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 24, many gifts were given to poor students in Tan Long commune (Tan Ky) and people affected by floods in Muong Tip and Muong Ai communes (Ky Son).
* Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnamcooperated with FPT Corporation to donate 2 sets of computers and 160 gifts with a total value of 30 million VND to the charity class of Mr. Nguyen Viet Hoc in Tan Lap hamlet, Tan Long commune, Tan Ky district.

On this occasion, the delegation also presented gifts to teachers and students of Nghia Thai Primary School with 2 sets of computers, 1 water filter, a water tank, a bookcase with many advanced books, 520 gifts including school supplies and candies for students, with a total value of more than 80 million VND. These meaningful gifts help poor students in Nghia Thai commune have better conditions in studying.

At the working session, the delegation listened to the leaders of Ky Son district report on the damage and progress of overcoming the consequences of floods caused by storms No. 3 and No. 4, and shared the difficulties of ethnic people in Ky Son district in recent times.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 2.5 million VND in cash to poor and disadvantaged households in Muong Tip and Muong Ai communes that suffered damage from the recent floods. The total value of the gifts was 200 million VND.
