Fulfilling dreams and helping 30 poor students in Nghe An go to school

(Baonghean.vn) - Con Cuong District is the 5th stop and also the final location of the "Support to School" Scholarship Program in 2018, implemented by Nghe An Newspaper in collaboration with TECCO Group.

On the morning of November 2, comrade Tran Huu Nghia - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hao - Deputy Director of TECCO Nghe An Branch went to Con Cuong district to award 6 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances.

Each student receiving a scholarship from the program is a story of perseverance to overcome difficulties and their admirable filial piety towards their parents. Ho Binh An, a 5th grade student at Mon Son Primary School, Con Cuong District, is from a poor and extremely disadvantaged household. His parents died early when he was in 2nd grade. Currently, he lives with his grandfather, who has tuberculosis. An is obedient, takes care of and supports his grandfather and has been an excellent student for many years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hao - Deputy Director of TECCO Nghe An Branch shared the message: Hopefully, through the program "Support to school" that the unit coordinated with Nghe An Newspaper, it will contribute a small part in not letting any good student with the will to excel but because of poverty have to give up their dreams.

TECCO Group cooperated with Nghe An Newspaper to respond to the call "Support to go to school" of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, implementing the Program for 3 years, from 2018-2020, each year spending 300 million VND to award 30 scholarships to poor, orphaned students, students with especially difficult circumstances... to strive to study well in the province.
