Investigation into the case of slashing someone at night in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - While having dinner, Mr. Tran Giang Nam was attacked by a group of people with weapons and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.
On November 3, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan - Head of Thai Hoa Town Police said that the unit is investigating and clarifying the incident of a resident being assaulted and robbed by a group of people.

According to the complaint, at around 11pm on October 31, Mr. Tran Giang Nam (born in 1986, residing in Tay Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town) went out for a late night snack and saw a crowd of people on the other side of the street, so he was curious and went over to see.
After returning to the restaurant, Mr. Nam was suddenly chased by a group of young men holding knives and swords. Seeing this, Mr. Nam panicked and ran to the second floor of the restaurant to hide, but was still caught by the group of young men.
There, Mr. Nam was slashed twice in the back with a knife by a subject. After taking a Samsung Note 8 phone and 3 million VND in cash from the victim, the group left.
Upon discovering the incident, local residents took Mr. Nam to the Nghe An Northwest Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment. The incident is currently being investigated by the police.
