30 officers of Bolykhamxay Provincial Military Command completed training course in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 7, the Nghe An Border Guard Command held the closing ceremony of a border management training course for 30 officers of the Bolykhamxay Provincial Military Command - Lao PDR.

After nearly 1 month of training, the Nghe An Border Guard Command has strictly implemented the training plan, actively innovated teaching methods, and arranged interpreters to ensure the best conditions for trainees to absorb the lecture content.

Despite the language barrier, the students strictly followed the regulations and rules of the Class Management Board, overcame difficulties in accommodation and food, studied and mastered basic knowledge of international law; national borders according to international law; contents and measures in the organization and command of border protection by the Border Guard; procedures for inspection and supervision of border gates, procedures for unilateral and bilateral patrols, etc.

In particular, students learned how to use GPS devices and topographic maps in command work, border protection, and handling some situations that occurred on the border.

Through the test, 100% of students achieved good or excellent results, completing the program as planned.
