Solemn and cozy ceremony celebrating the 57th anniversary of Nghe An Newspaper's founding
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 9, Nghe An Newspaper organized a meeting to celebrate the 57th anniversary of the newspaper's founding (November 10, 1961 - November 10, 2018).
Exactly 57 years ago, Nhan Dan Nghe An Newspaper was established to carry out the mission of propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to the majority of people in the province.

Over more than half a century of development, in each period, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, with the continuous efforts of generations of cadres and reporters, Nghe An Newspaper has always performed its duties well on the ideological front. Contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province, creating many profound impressions.

In particular, in 2015, Nghe An Newspaper was awarded the noble title: Hero of Labor in the renovation period.
Since its inception, the entire editorial office had only 9 people. Up to now, Nghe An Newspaper has a team of nearly 85 people. Among them, there is 1 doctor, 10 masters, 70 university-level staff, 18 people with advanced political theory qualifications. Currently, Nghe An Newspaper publishes 4 publications: Nghe An Daily, Nghe An Weekend, Ethnic - Mountainous Region Special Page and Electronic Newspaper.

The printed newspaper has a circulation of more than 16,000 copies/day, covering all the party cells. The content is increasingly rich, attractive, and beautifully presented. Meanwhile, Nghe An e-newspaper currently has an average of 150,000 visits/day, with peak days reaching 250,000 to 300,000 views. Information is updated quickly and vividly.
Currently, Nghe An Newspaper is considered one of the top 3 newspapers in the local Party newspaper system of the whole country. In 2018, Nghe An Newspaper reporters won 1 B prize in the National Press Award on the environment of the Vietnam Journalists Association; 1 Encouragement Prize for writing on the topic of Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh at the Central level; 1 C prize in the Central Press Award for the cause of Great National Unity; 9 press awards of Nghe An province, including 3 Second prizes, 4 Third prizes, 2 Encouragement prizes and dozens of First, Second and Third prizes in press competitions organized by local departments and branches.

Previously, officials and reporters of Nghe An Newspaper offered incense at the Traditional Room to celebrate the 57th anniversary of its founding.
Also this morning, Nghe An Newspaper held the 7th "Golden Moment" photo contest award ceremony in 2018.
The contest was officially launched on November 10, 2017 and ended on October 25, 2018. This year, the Organizing Committee received more than 1,100 entries from 95 authors. Through the judging rounds, the Jury selected 11 entries to award prizes. Including 2 Second Prizes (no First Prize), 3 Third Prizes and 6 Encouragement Prizes.
On this occasion, Nghe An Electricity Company also presented flowers and congratulated the authors who won the Golden Moment photo award related to the electricity industry.
