Father hired gangsters for 50 million VND to kidnap his son
The father hired dozens of gangsters for 50 million VND, bringing weapons to kidnap his 7-year-old daughter.
At around 2:00 p.m. on November 8, the authorities received a report from Mr. Mai Van Tu (64 years old, residing in Phu Hung 1 hamlet, Binh Phu commune, Cang Long district) about his son-in-law, Dinh Thanh Can (35 years old, residing in An Thanh Tay commune, Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City) and a group of people.gangstercarrying weapons, broke into the house, kidnapped his grandson named D.TMH (7 years old) and then got in a car and escaped towards Ben Tre province.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities proceeded to arrest the subjects.

At the police station, Can confessed that due to an unhappy family life, Can and his wife separated more than half a year ago. After that, his wife went to Ho Chi Minh City to work and sent her daughter to her grandparents to raise.
Because he wanted to bring his child back to Ho Chi Minh City to live, Can hired Phung Phu Pha (35 years old, living in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City) and 10 other people for 50 million VND and planned to kidnap the child.
At around 1:30 p.m. the same day, Can and the group of young men brought 8 homemade knives in 2 cars to Mr. Tu's house. When they arrived, Can went alone to his father-in-law's house and took H. away, but was prevented by his parents-in-law so Can left.
A few minutes later, Can and three young men carrying homemade knives rushed in.Mr. Tu's house and forced H. into the car, then the whole group escaped.
Currently, the authorities are detaining the above gang for further investigation and clarification.
