Tuong Duong 2 High School celebrated its 20th anniversary

Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Director of the Department of Education and Training; Luong Thanh Hai - Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee; along with representatives of the leaders of Tuong Duong district, Tuong Duong 2 High School and many generations of students of the school.

Tuong Duong 2 High School was established in 1998, formerly Tam Quang Secondary and High School, located in Khe Bo village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district. In 2000, the school was separated from Tam Quang Secondary and High School, located in Bai Xa village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district. After that, the school changed its name twice and officially from 2013 was named Tuong Duong 2 High School until now.

As a school located in a particularly difficult border commune, with many shortages of facilities, however, with determination, effort and love for the profession, teachers and students of the school have achieved many remarkable results. The quality of the school's premises and key quality are always concerned and improved. The number of excellent students of the province is always at the top of the B group system of the whole province. The number of students passing the University - College entrance exam the following year is always higher than the previous year.

In recent years, the school has always been a typical local unit in effectively implementing emulation movements and major campaigns of the Education & Training sector. Up to now, 100% of teachers and staff have applied technological advances in management and teaching.

From the first years of separation, Tuong Duong 2 High School only had 14 teachers, after 20 years the school has welcomed more than 40 teachers to teach and work at the school. Currently, 100% of the school's teachers meet the standards, there are 2 managers, 11 teachers with qualifications above the standard. The professional qualifications of teachers have also increased, 15 teachers have achieved the title of excellent teachers at the school level, 4 are excellent teachers at the provincial level. 100% of staff, teachers and employees have completed well and excellently the assigned tasks. Many staff, teachers, students and mass organizations have received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Education and Training...

In the 2004-2005 school year, Tuong Duong 2 High School was recognized as a cultural unit. In the 2011-2012 school year, the school was recognized for the second time and was the only school in the district to be recognized as a cultural unit. The school has been continuously recognized as an advanced school. In particular, in the 2017-2018 school year, the school was one of 9 high schools in the province recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as an Excellent Labor Collective. The school's Party cell currently has 34 party members, always playing a good role in guiding the school's development, achieving the title of Excellent School for many years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Director of the Department of Education and Trainingwarmly commend and congratulate the efforts of teachers and students of Tuong Duong 2 High School over the past 20 years.

To maintain and promote the achievements, he hopes that the school's teachers will continue to promote the achievements, implement the education and training innovation program well; do a good job in management; improve the quality of teaching and learning, especially focusing on moral education and career guidance for students. Strive to become a modern school, with students as the center, teachers playing a leading role, encouraging students to self-study, self-creativity, and develop comprehensive life skills for them.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Luong Thanh Hai presented the school with a banner with the words: "Tuong Duong 2 High School promotes the glorious tradition, solidarity, creativity, emulation in good teaching - good learning". Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, presented Certificates of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee to the school and 5 individuals with many outstanding achievements in education...

On this occasion, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Tuong Duong district, together with former teachers and students, also presented souvenirs to Tuong Duong 2 school.
