The investigation agency said: The unit arrested Vo Phan Quoc at 8:00 p.m. on November 8, on the inter-village road in Hamlet 6, Nghi Van Commune when he stopped his motorbike and was waiting to sell 10 kg of firecrackers to an unknown person. Through the investigation, Quoc confessed that he bought the firecrackers from Nguyen Cong Bang in Nghi Trung Commune.

An arrest warrant and an emergency search of Nguyen Cong Bang's residence were executed. At the scene, the authorities seized 25 kg of firecrackers of the same type as those just seized from Vo Phan Quoc. Nguyen Cong Bang stated: All of the above firecrackers were purchased by the subject from an unknown person in Vinh city.

Quoc and Bang are both students at a vocational school in the province. The case is being investigated.
