Nghe An: More than 1 million Vinh oranges have been given origin traceability stamps
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Department of Quality Measurement of Nghe An province, this year's orange crop has 10 units registered to print electronic stamps to trace the origin of Vinh oranges. Accordingly, 1 million Vinh oranges will be affixed with electronic stamps to trace the origin, an increase of 500,000 fruits compared to last year.
This year's orange crop is estimated to have a 3% decrease in output compared to last year, because the key area of Vinh oranges has many premature oranges falling, especially in the Quy Hop orange area.

According to Ms. Thai Thi Hong Lien - Deputy Head of the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality, this orange crop has 10 units registered to print and affix electronic traceability stamps for Vinh oranges with a quantity of more than 1 million stamps. This means that more than 1 million Vinh oranges with guaranteed quality will be affixed with stamps, in order to create the Vinh orange brand for consumers.
