Song Con Sugarcane Joint Stock Company enters new pressing season
(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2018 - 2019 crushing season, Song Con Sugarcane Joint Stock Company has a raw material area with a total area of 6,901 hectares. From November 10, the Company entered the new crushing season, with a capacity of 3,300 tons/day.
Song Con Sugarcane Joint Stock Company has a raw material area with a total area of 6,901 hectares in 5 districts: Tan Ky, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Yen Thanh and Do Luong, mainly concentrated in Tan Ky.
From November 10, 2018, the Company entered a new pressing season with a capacity of 3,300 tons/day.

This year, despite the complicated weather and prolonged rains and floods, thanks to the focus on intensive investment and planting of new sugarcane varieties with high yields such as KK3, KK2, K9211, NK9211... many sugarcane areas have achieved yields of over 80 tons/ha, with some areas reaching 120 tons/ha; the average yield for the entire raw material area is expected to reach 55 tons/ha.
At this time, the company is encouraging people to harvest sugarcane to ensure raw materials for the factory to operate at the beginning of the pressing season. To encourage households to harvest early, the company has a policy of supporting farmers with an additional 20,000 VND/ton for the first 15 days of purchasing raw sugarcane, and sugarcane with less than 3% impurities is not classified.

Along with the harvest, the Company has a policy to encourage people to plant new sugarcane areas with a plan of 3,000 hectares.
According to plan, the Company will finish the crushing season in April 2019, with an estimated sugarcane output of 400,000 tons./.
