Nghe An will organize a high-tech, safe agricultural fair.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 17, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee to organize a press conference on the 2018 High-tech Agricultural Fair, Safe Agricultural Products of the Central Provinces and Green Products of Cooperatives and Craft Villages of Nghe An Province.
The 2018 fair of high-tech agriculture, safe agricultural products of the Central provinces and green products of cooperatives and craft villages of Nghe An province was held from November 28 to December 3, 2018 at Vinh City Central Park, Nghe An province with a scale of over 200 booths.
The fair is held to introduce achievements in science and technology, promote agricultural production towards high-tech agriculture, and promote safe agricultural products that meet standards for export and domestic consumption.

Promote and introduce agricultural and rural products produced using green technology and being environmentally friendly by cooperatives and craft villages of Nghe An province.
In addition, the fair also showcases technology and applications of technical advances in agricultural production, aquaculture, seafood exploitation, product preservation and processing technology, aiming to improve product quality, production efficiency and sustainable development.

The fair is an opportunity to introduce and sell local agricultural specialties, flowers, ornamental plants, handicrafts, and gifts from traditional craft villages of Nghe An, the North Central provinces, and localities across the country.
At the press conference, journalists suggested that the organizing committee should arrange and set up reasonably, prioritizing booths introducing strong products and representing agricultural product brands of each locality.
At the same time, control the quality of products displayed at the fair according to the criteria of applying high technology and safety; along with that, it is necessary to provide complete information about the products such as production and processing processes; it is necessary to introduce methods to preserve food, agricultural products...

Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong said that the fair is an opportunity to promote and introduce more widely agricultural, forestry and fishery products, clean food, and qualified products to consumers and raise the sense of responsibility of businesses towards food safety and hygiene in the process of production, processing, preservation of agricultural products and product consumption.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that the media pay attention to and inform about the results of Nghe An province in developing high-tech agriculture and safe agricultural products to encourage businesses to invest in the province's agricultural sector; at the same time, promote policies and mechanisms to attract businesses to invest in rural agriculture.
