Nghe An Education Trade Union gives gifts to teachers in difficult circumstances

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, on the afternoon of November 20, Nghe An Education Trade Union visited and gave gifts to teachers facing many difficulties in Nghi Loc district and Vinh city.

In Nghi Loc district, Mr. Dang Van Hai - Chairman of Nghe An Education Trade Union and members of the delegation visited, encouraged and congratulated Vietnamese Teachers' Day to teacher Dang Thi Ha - teacher of Nghi Dien Secondary School. Given the difficult circumstances of teacher Ha, the delegation presented a gift of 3 million VND and hoped that the teacher would continue to try and be optimistic to overcome her illness and soon return to work.

Previously, Nghe An Newspaper also published an article "The female teacher and the story of revival from despair" about the example of efforts of teacher Dang Thi Ha. Currently, teacher Ha is being treated for a serious illness at Nghe An Oncology Hospital.

The delegation also came to congratulate, present gifts and encourage teacher Nguyen Thi Bien Thuy - teacher at Hung Dung 2 Kindergarten. On the evening of October 9, after a fire at the old Industrial and Commercial Bank apartment complex, her family lost all their property and the couple is having to stay with relatives.

Also on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training and the Education Trade Union went to 6 hospitals in Vinh city to directly present 161 gifts with a total value of more than 40 million VND to officials, teachers, workers and former teachers who worked in the sector and are currently receiving medical treatment.
