Responding to voters, the Petition Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee said that Clause 2, Article 27 of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly stipulates: "National Assembly deputies meet voters in the constituency according to the voter contact program of the National Assembly delegation; meet at the place of residence, workplace; meet voters according to topics, fields, subjects, and areas that the deputies are interested in".
In addition, the Joint Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front stipulates: “In case of necessity to improve the quality and effectiveness of their contributions to law-making, supervision activities and decisions on important issues of the country, National Assembly deputies may meet with voters outside the province or centrally run city where they are running for election.”

Thus, contacting voters outside the locality where the National Assembly deputy is running for election is based on the actual work requirements of each National Assembly deputy, in order to better fulfill the duties of his/her representative.
"The fact that Party and State leaders have visited localities to meet voters and people has been done by leaders in the past and has been reported on the mass media," the People's Petition Committee replied.
In case the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province finds that the locality and voters request that Party and State leaders meet with voters to better resolve the issue, the delegation will send the request directly to the leaders.
National Assembly Delegate Arrested, Need to Clarify Responsibility of the Introducing Organization
Voters in Dak Lak mentioned that recently, a number of National Assembly deputies were arrested and dismissed from their duties due to corruption and negativity and requested that "it is necessary to clarify the responsibility of the organization in the matter of introducing and negotiating elections".
Responding to voters, the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee said that the arrest and dismissal of a number of Delegates related to corruption and negativity in recent times is an undesirable event for the National Assembly, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and fronts at all levels.
"Central agencies as well as local Party committees and authorities have reviewed the personnel work process, seriously reviewed and drawn profound lessons from the process of consultation and introduction of candidates for the National Assembly, from which proposals have been made when amending the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies."
