This is a meaningful activity within the framework of activities to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975 - 2018).
The contest is an annual activity held for many years at 140 universities across the country. In Nghe An, this year, after preliminary rounds at each unit, the Organizing Committee selected 11 best students from 5 universities and colleges in Vinh city to participate in the final round. After the speech contest and the additional question-answering session, the 5 best candidates will be selected to participate in the National Vietnamese Speech Contest.
The contest has created a useful playground for Lao students to interact, learn and exchange experiences. Besides, it is also an opportunity for contestants to learn about the culture and traditions of Vietnam and Laos and improve their Vietnamese language skills.
