After Mr. Manh completed the check-in procedure, the group of young men asked Ms. Le Thi Giang, a VietJet airline employee, to take a photo in the departure hall area. After that, the group continued to ask Giang to take a photo together, but Giang refused due to work reasons.

Because their demands were not met, the group of young men loudly cursed and assaulted Ms. Giang. Among them, An and Nhi used their phones to hit Ms. Giang on the head and slapped her in the face. At the same time, Ms. Le Thi Hien, a representative of VietJet Air, witnessed the incident and tried to stop it, but Nhi slapped her in the face and kicked her in the stomach.

Aviation security officer Vu Quoc Hoi, who was on duty at the hand-carry screening checkpoint, witnessed the incident and was present to assist, but was also attacked on the arm and neck by Dung.

The aviation security control force promptly arrived, controlled the group of young men and coordinated with the representative of the Northern Airport Authority in Tho Xuan to draw up a record of the violation, hand over the case file and the violators to the Muc Son Police Station - Thanh Hoa for handling according to regulations.
