Nghe An: Enforced tax debt collection of 379 billion VND
(Baonghean.vn) - In 2018, by implementing measures to urge tax debt collection and enforce tax debt collection, Nghe An Tax Department collected 379.1 billion VND, reaching 45.7% of the total debt as of December 31, 2017 and reaching 84.4% of the old debt collection target.
According to the report of Nghe An Tax Department, in order to collect tax arrears, in 2018, the industry has vigorously implemented many measures, including tax management measures, strengthening inspection and examination to combat tax losses, tax evasion and tax enforcement. As a result, 379 billion VND in tax arrears have been collected.

The Tax Department also inspected and handled 78 units with the amount of tax arrears and fines of 130.45 billion; reduced refunds and deductions of 4.16 billion VND; reduced losses of 28.13 billion VND, reduced unfinished production and business costs of 27.2 billion VND, tax paid to the budget of 48.35 billion VND, completing 63% of the assigned inspection plan.
The entire tax sector conducted inspections at 1,344 enterprises, of which 1,227 enterprises had violations with the proposed tax collection of 87.6 billion VND, fines of 25.7 billion VND, refunds of 778 million VND, loss reduction of 193.3 billion VND, deduction reduction of 7.7 billion VND, and non-refunds of 141.2 billion VND.
Through inspection, the amount of tax paid to the budget was 93.9 billion VND, completing 85% of the assigned inspection plan.
