(Baonghean.vn) - Some items with good growth in turnover in the first 10 months of the year: Cassava starch increased by 23.55%: With raw materials mainly exploited from the Southern provinces, in the first 9 months of 2018, cassava starch exports grew relatively well due to abundant raw materials, slightly increased purchasing power of the Chinese market, plus the average export price increased sharply due to the increase in input material prices compared to the same period.

In the coming time, the export price of cassava starch is forecasted to continue to increase as ethanol bio-material processing factories increase the purchase of cassava raw materials to serve production needs.

In the first 10 months of 2018, the total export turnover of the whole province is estimated at 888.64 million USD, an increase of 10.9% compared to the first 10 months of 2017. Of which, the export of goods is estimated at 617 million USD, an increase of 10.95% compared to the same period in 2017. The estimated export turnover for the whole year is 1,010 million USD, the highest ever.

The second item is wood chips, up 27.5%: Purchasing power from the Chinese market showed signs of increasing, with the average price of wood chips in the first 9 months of the year increasing slightly compared to the same period.

Other items such as textiles increased by 22.4%, plastic additives increased by 75.3%...

The structure of exported goods has gradually improved, with the proportion of unprocessed raw goods decreasing and the proportion of processed industrial goods increasing. The export market has also been continuously expanded. Enterprises in the province have so far exported goods to 112 countries, regions and territories; in which, the main export markets are: China accounting for over 48.7%, South Korea 11.9%, the United States 8%, India 3.7%, Japan 3.5%, Laos 2.9%, etc.
