Commander of Military Region 4 visits and works with the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 26, Major General Nguyen Doan Anh - Commander of Military Region 4 visited and worked with the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on the occasion of his assignment by the Government and the Ministry of National Defense to take up a task at the Military Region 4 Command.
Also attending were Major General Tran Vo Dung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 4 and senior leaders of Military Region 4 Command.
Receiving and working with the delegation, on the side of Nghe An province, there was comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In an open and friendly atmosphere, Major General Nguyen Doan Anh thanked the comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party committees and authorities at all levels of Nghe An province for their deep attention to the activities of the Military Region 4 Command in recent times.
Affirming that Nghe An is a strategic location in the Central region and the whole country, the Commander of Military Region 4 said that, standing on the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, the Military Region 4 Command always pays attention to accompanying the locality in implementing socio-economic development goals in parallel with the task of ensuring national defense and security.

Compared to other provinces in the North Central region, Nghe An is a province with a well-developed technical infrastructure and transportation system, abundant human resources, hard-working and friendly people, and a stable national defense and security situation. These are extremely favorable conditions for Nghe An to develop its economy and effectively achieve its set goals.

Thanking the attention of the Military Region 4 Command and Major General Nguyen Doan Anh himself, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh affirmed that the province always considers ensuring national defense and security as the top priority in every stage of development. Localities are also very aware of this issue. Therefore, national defense and military work is always considered a key annual task, training, exercises, and combat readiness are well maintained;
With the characteristic of a locality with a land border with Laos of more than 468 km, it is a favorable condition for trade between the localities in Western Nghe An but at the same time, it also has potential risks for border security. In recent times, the Military Region 4 Command has paid attention to and accompanied the province in ensuring national defense and security in this area. Military Region 4 has assigned and directed specific forces to aim at stabilizing the border area for sustainable development.

The Provincial Party Secretary also thanked the Military Region 4 Command for regularly accompanying and supporting the locality in unexpected situations and cases such as floods and natural disasters; the military training methods and national defense and security education work deployed by the Military Region 4 Command in the province are also important contents for the Party committees and authorities at all levels of Nghe An to learn, research and implement in practice. He hoped that the Military Region 4 Command and Commander Nguyen Doan Anh personally would continue to pay attention to and help Nghe An province.

Major General Nguyen Doan Anh was born in 1967 in Hoai Duc district, Hanoi. He has held the following positions: Division Commander of Division 301 - Capital Command; Deputy Military Commander of the Capital Command; Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Capital Command. He assumed the position of Commander of the Capital Command since July 2015.
Major General Nguyen Doan Anh is a delegate of the 14th National Assembly of Hanoi. In November 2018, he was appointed by the Prime Minister to the position of Commander of Military Region 4.
