Tieu Vy failed both the "Sports" and "Confrontational Presentation" competitions.
Vietnam's representative continued to fail to achieve good results in the two Miss World competitions whose results were announced on November 30.
On November 30, the Miss World 2018 contestants entered the next sub-round, "Sports". They were divided into three groups: Red - Yellow - Blue, participating in both team and individual competitions. Miss Vietnam - Tran Tieu Vy belonged to the blue group.

In this round, Tieu Vy continued to not win any achievements. Miss USA - Marisa Butler won and got a ticket straight to the top 30 in the final night. This was easy to predict because the contestants who won the "Sports" competition often came from athletes or had a passion for and practiced sports for a long time to be able to overcome the difficult challenges of the organizers. Compared to the contestants from America or Europe, Tieu Vy was somewhat "inferior" in terms of physical strength.
Miss USA - Marisa Butler was born in 1994 in Maine, USA. She is 1.73 m tall and is currently a financial investment officer in addition to her freelance modeling job. Marisa enjoys fishing, mountain climbing and backpacking. In her free time, she plays lacrosse (a popular team sport in North America), soccer and drums.

Also on the evening of November 30, the Miss World organizing committee announced the list of 20 contestants who won the first round of the "Speech Competition". In group 12 of Tieu Vy, the representative of India - Anukreethy Vas won the right to continue.
Although she did not win, Tieu Vy still received many compliments for her confidence and improved English communication skills. Global Beauties commented that Tieu Vy was an impressive face in group 12 and deserved to continue to the semi-finals.
Up to now, Tieu Vy has only been in the top "Supermodel" and "Talent" but has not won any subsidiary awards. She still has a chance in the most important competition, "Beauty with a Heart", with the score doubled.
