More than 700 veterans and union members take care of martyrs' tombstones
(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2018), on the morning of December 1, Anh Son District Youth Union (Nghe An) coordinated with the District Veterans Association to organize the restoration of nearly 11,000 tombstones at the Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery.

More than 500 union members, youths and 200 veterans from 21 communes, towns, agencies and units in the area participated in the renovation, painting and repair of tombstones. It is expected that within 1 day, the cemetery will thoroughly clean, carefully arrange the grounds and repaint the information of nearly 11,000 tombstones.
