Innovation in content and form of communication about science and technology
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 4, the Department of Science and Technology held a conference for science and technology communication collaborators in 2018.
In 2018, the communication activities of the Department of Science and Technology took place with many programs and contents, the most prominent of which were two printed publications: Science and Technology Magazine, Social Sciences and Humanities Magazine; the information channels of visual newspapers and electronic newspapers were also active, achieving many results.

The content that the publications focus on is innovative start-up activities; building and developing agricultural product brands; local specialties; introducing exemplary scientists, researchers; authors of scientific works, inventions, scientific and technological creations, etc.
In general, the communication content is practical, useful and encourages research activities and the application of scientific and technological advances into practice. It becomes an information channel to support policy makers in developing management mechanisms in the field of science and technology.

Discussing at the conference, delegates acknowledged and highly appreciated the innovation and improvement of the quality of publications on science and technology. In addition, many opinions also said that there were not many articles with application and social criticism in publications. Articles on the topic of industry and environment were still thin; the scientific content in some articles was low; the content of the news articles, although rich, was not really profound, and the quality was uneven.
Delegates suggested that publications should increase content that is controversial and socially critical; articles on economics, application of science and technology in real life; approach digital media, build development strategies, innovate content and form, and enhance learning from press agencies so that publications become more professional, attractive, and attract readers.
