According to the report of Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huong (40 years old, agricultural business), on the afternoon of December 4, she and her husband locked the door of the villa in Binh Hoa Phuoc commune, Long Ho district, and went to Vinh Long city for work.

When they returned, they discovered that their house had been broken into and 76 taels of gold, 3.2 billion VND and many other belongings were stolen. The total loss of assets was more than 8.3 billion VND.

The villa has 6 security cameras. The camera in front of the gate recorded the image of a young man wearing a helmet, mask, and gloves ringing the doorbell when Mrs. Huong and her husband left the house.

"Perhaps when the thief knew no one was in the house, he broke in through the back door and turned the camera in another direction to steal," a police officer examining the scene said, adding that there were many traces of the door and safe being broken into in the house.
