Specifically, at 6:55 p.m. on December 6, through a search of the house of Nguyen Thi Van, born in 1982, residing in Block 5, Con Cuong town, the authorities discovered 2 polythene plastic bags hidden by Van on her person, 1 bag containing 10 pink pills and 1 bag containing many heroin blocks.

Continuing to search the suspect's bed and dressing table, the force discovered 1 more bag containing 8 pink pills, 1 bag containing 8 synthetic drug pills, 1 bag containing many heroin blocks, 18 million VND in cash, 1 black electronic scale brand Pocket Scale TPS MC 202B, 1 mobile phone, 1 set of border guard captain's shoulder boards, 1 set of army camouflage clothes, 1 mini camera and 7 polythene bags suspected of containing drugs.

Authorities said: the female subject works as a taxi driver, Van's husband was arrested nearly a year ago for illegal drug trafficking and possession and was sentenced to 7 years in prison, Van is raising her young child alone. However, in recent months, authorities discovered that Van has many suspicious signs of illegal drug trafficking.
Currently, Van has been arrested by Con Cuong District Police to continue expanding the investigation and searching for the subject who supplied drugs to Van, who is currently on the run./.
