The Central Inspection Commission proposed to discipline Mr. Tat Thanh Cang and a series of other officials.
On December 7, the Central Inspection Commission issued a notice on the 32nd Session (held from December 3 to 6 in Hanoi). Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission chaired the session.

Accordingly, at this session, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed and concluded the following contents:
I- On inspection when there are signs of violations against the Party Executive Committee of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee
1- The Party Executive Committee of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term violated the principle of democratic centralism and the Working Regulations; loosened leadership and direction, allowing the Provincial People's Committee to commit many violations and shortcomings in land allocation, forest allocation, land lease, forest lease, forest management, protection and forest compensation, causing damage and loss of state budget revenue, causing large-scale forest loss, forest destruction and encroachment, giving rise to complex disputes and complaints, negatively affecting the political security situation, social order and safety and socio-economic development of the locality.
2- Comrade Nguyen Bon, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is primarily responsible for the violations and shortcomings of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term; lack of responsibility in leadership, direction, and management, allowing many violations and shortcomings in forest management, protection, and development; directly signing decisions on land lease, forest allocation, and forest compensation not in accordance with legal regulations.
3- Comrade Truong Thanh Tung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, is jointly responsible for the violations and shortcomings of the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term; directly signed a number of decisions on land allocation, land lease, forest allocation, forest lease and directed forest compensation not in accordance with legal regulations.
The violations and shortcomings of the Party Executive Committee of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term, comrade Nguyen Bon and comrade Truong Thanh Tung are serious, affecting the reputation of the Party organization and local government, causing bad public opinion in society, to the point that disciplinary action must be considered and taken.
II- Review and discipline party members who violate the law
1- Consider disciplinary action against Comrade Tat Thanh Cang, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, for violations and shortcomings concluded at the 31st session of the Central Inspection Commission. Considering the content, nature, level and consequences of the violations; based on the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against violating Party members, the Central Inspection Commission proposes that the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee consider and take disciplinary action against Comrade Tat Thanh Cang according to their authority.
2- Consider and impose disciplinary action on Lieutenant General Nguyen Cong Son, former member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, former Deputy Director General of the General Department of Police; Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Ba, former member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, former Deputy Director General of the General Department of Police, Ministry of Public Security and Major General Le Dinh Nhuong, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security, former Party Committee member, former Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency, Ministry of Public Security, for violations and shortcomings that were concluded at the 30th session of the Central Inspection Committee. Based on the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against violating Party members, the Central Inspection Committee decided to impose disciplinary action in the form of a Warning on comrades Nguyen Cong Son, Nguyen Van Ba, and Le Dinh Nhuong.
3- Consider and discipline Major General Dang Ngoc Nghia, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security, during his tenure as Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Military Command (from April 2005 to January 2012), who committed many violations and shortcomings in advising and implementing the Nam Dong-A Luoi Road Construction Investment Project, leading to poor quality works, many road sections being severely damaged and unusable, causing great loss and waste of the state budget, affecting the reputation of the Party organization, the army and the comrade himself.
Pursuant to the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against violating Party members, the Central Inspection Committee decided to impose a disciplinary warning on comrade Dang Ngoc Nghia.
III- Review reports on the results of the inspection of the implementation of inspection, supervision and party discipline tasks for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee of Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Phu Yen provinces, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Party Committee Inspection Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology; the results of the supervision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Binh Dinh provinces.
Through the results of inspection and supervision, the Central Inspection Commission pointed out the advantages, limitations, shortcomings and required Party committees, Party organizations and individuals to learn from experience and promptly take measures to overcome and correct in the coming time.
IV- Also during this session, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed and resolved denunciations of 1 organization and 2 individuals; resolved disciplinary complaints against 5 parties and gave opinions on a number of other important issues./.
