Before the final round, 17 faces were revealed to be in the top 30, thanks to the results in the charity, talent, sports, and Head to Head challenge competitions. Miss Vietnam Tieu Vy was also in the top 30 with the achievement of top 5 charity projects.

The final night opened with a vibrant musical performance. More than 100 beauties dressed in dynamic costumes transformed into a dance troupe. Then came the appearance of MCs and former Miss Megan Young and Stephanie Del Valle on stage.
Immediately following was the colorful, elaborately choreographed Dance of the World. This has been a signature performance of Miss World for many years.
The top 5 charity projects, including Tieu Vy, Miss Nepal, Indonesia, Mexico, and New Zealand, were just announced on the final stage. Miss Vietnam appeared in a Chau Van dance costume, with the main color being blue. Beauty with a purpose is an important part of the Miss World competition. Last year, Do My Linh also won this award and entered the top 40.

Thus, the representative of Vietnam, Tieu Vy, was not in the Top 12.
The top 5 were announced shortly after, with contestants from Belarus, Jamaica, Mexico, Uganda and Thailand. Many viewers expressed surprise when Miss Nepal - the number one contender - missed out on the final top 5.
Right after stopping at Top 30, Tieu Vy and the beauties left the stage to go down to the seats to cheer on the Top 5 to answer questions.

After Tieu Vy was eliminated, Vietnamese netizens expressed their disagreement with the way the Miss World organizers selected the Top 12 by continent this year.
Specifically, this year, the organizers will select the Top 12 from 5 continents, then choose 5 representatives as Miss World of each continent, and these 5 people will also be the Top 5.
Accordingly, the top 30 must be divided into continents and regions to select the Top 12. But the division makes viewers feel unsatisfied.
If the European region has 5 candidates to choose 3 people, or the African region has 3 candidates to choose 2 people, then Asia and Oceania are combined into one region and have to choose 3 people from 11 candidates.
