(Baonghean.vn) - Participating in the 8th National Sports Festival in 2018, Nghe An Sports Delegation won 03 gold medals, 03 silver medals and 01 bronze medal in Weightlifting.
Accordingly, from December 3 to 8, weightlifters competed in 4 weight classes, competing for 12 sets of medals, bringing Nghe An Sports Delegation 03 gold medals, 03 silver medals and 01 bronze medal, ranking 5th out of 27 provinces and cities nationwide.

In which, athlete Le Thi Tham won 02 gold medals, 01 silver medal and 01 bronze medal in the 69kg weight class; athlete Pham Thi Hong Thanh won 01 gold medal, 02 silver medals in the 63kg weight class.
The athletes were congratulated and awarded by the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and the Sports Training Center at the closing ceremony of the Organizing Committee.
