He said: "I shed tears many times because of my daughter's troubles. Before that, I forbade Huong Tram from singing because showbiz is extremely complicated. When my daughter had problems and was alone, I felt helpless because I couldn't quit my job and go to Huong Tram. My daughter was still too young at that time, only 17 years old, but had to struggle alone in Ho Chi Minh City."

People's Artist Tien Dung also added that he had met and talked with Thu Minh when the teacher and student had problems. "I couldn't call to explain to my daughter. I cried all night because of this. That was my daughter's scandal that caused me the most pain."

The father of the Nghe An singer also emotionally confided: “In addition to working, dealing with life, and human relationships, Huong Tram sometimes cannot avoid… There were nights when I stayed up all night and cried. I loved my daughter but didn’t know how to express it. I sat down and wrote her a very long letter. I wrote that letter in tears, I loved my daughter very much.”

Although he strictly acknowledged his daughter's mistakes, People's Artist Tien Dung could not hide his excitement at his daughter's growth.

“I am an individual in art. I am very serious and strict with art and my daughter also has my genes, which will help artists, in addition to talent, to mature,” he said.

Sharing about the campaign to prepare for her live show, Huong Tram also took the time to talk about memories related to her family. That was the case when a friend whose younger brother had passed away sent her a letter, at the end of the letter he wished Tram to stay healthy, besides that she had to spend time with her family before it was too late.

“Tram has tried to contribute because the mistakes in the past had to be made many times more than the young people today. Thanks for those beatings, if anyone asks me if I regret what I have encountered, Ms. Thu Phuong still says that I am just a blank sheet of paper compared to what she has encountered. Tram still practices at home every day, so Tram still has increasingly polished products,” the female singer from Nghe An confided.

Huong Tram's Mailbox No. 1 program will take place on January 11, 2019 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi). Musician Ho Hoai Anh is the general director. To make this live show, Huong Tram initiated the handwritten letter project Mailbox No. 1. Currently, she and her team have received more than 6,000 letters and emails. Among them, many letters were written by anti-fans. They expressed that they used to love but then hated Huong Tram because she was involved in many scandals. Huong Tram thanked those who participated in the campaign.
