The subjects Luan and Huy confessed their motive for throwing dirty substances at the police station. |
The identities of the two subjects were identified as Tran Trong Luan (born in 1995, hometown Kim Thanh, Hai Duong) and Pham Quoc Huy (born in 1993, residing in Cat Ba, Hai Phong).
Through the struggle, Luan and Huy confessed to being "employees" of TVP (born in 1989, residing in Kim Thanh, Hai Duong; subject of "black credit" activities in Hung Yen City, was handled by Hung Yen Provincial Police in mid-October 2018).
Under the guise of establishing a finance company, TVP and his followers lent money at interest rates of up to 180% per year. When borrowers were no longer able to pay, the subjects used many methods of intimidation, control, throwing dirty substances, and even beating the “debtors” to demand money.
On the night of December 9, Luan and Huy went to Mr. NVX's house and threw dirty substances to pressure him to demand the 65 million VND that Mr. X. owed. The case is being further investigated by Hung Yen City Police.
