Comrade Thao Xuan Sung re-elected Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union
At the first conference of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VII, with 100% of the votes, comrade Thao Xuan Sung, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VI, was re-elected Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VII, term 2018-2023.

On the afternoon of December 12, delegates attending the National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union elected the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union for the 7th term, 2018-2023, with 119 members.
At the first conference of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VII, the Standing Committee of 21 comrades was elected; the Chairman and 05 Vice Chairmen of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VII were elected.
The conference also elected the Central Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union consisting of 15 comrades.
Accordingly, with 100% of the votes, comrade Thao Xuan Sung, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VI, was re-elected as President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VII, term 2018 - 2023.

05 Vice Presidents of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union (term VII) include comrades: Luong Quoc Doan (re-elected); Pham Tien Nam (re-elected); Dinh Khac Dinh (re-elected); Bui Thi Thom (additional election); Nguyen Xuan Dinh (additional election).
Speaking at the launching ceremony, on behalf of 119 comrades in the Executive Committee of the 7th term, comrade Thao Xuan Sung affirmed that the Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, 7th term, will continuously improve its knowledge and political capacity to perform well the assigned tasks.
Comrade Thao Xuan Sung was born in 1958, from Son La province, and is currently a member of the 12th Party Central Committee, a delegate to the 14th National Assembly (from the Son La Provincial Delegation), and a member of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council. Comrade Thao Xuan Sung is the President of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VI, 2013-2018.
